- Schedule Appointments: The primary responsibility of the Scheduling Specialist will be to efficiently schedule appointments for patients at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. This includes coordinating with various departments and providers to ensure availability and appropriate booking.
- Manage Patient Inquiries: The Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for managing incoming calls from patients and assisting them with any questions or concerns they may have regarding their appointments. This will require strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Maintain Records: Accuracy is key in this role, so the Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all scheduled appointments. - Coordinate with Providers: The Scheduling Specialist will work closely with healthcare providers to coordinate schedules and ensure that patients are scheduled with the appropriate provider for their needs.
