  • Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care in the Hospital Medicine Unit at MGH
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients
  • Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as necessary
  • Monitor and manage patients' ongoing medical conditions and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on current medical practices, treatments, and technologies through participation in continuing education opportunities
  • Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new protocols and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction and actively seek ways to improve the patient experience
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by working effectively with colleagues and supporting their professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification And Licensure As A Physician Assistant In The State Of New Hampshire.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Hospital Medicine Unit Or Similar Setting.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge Of Acute And Chronic Conditions, As Well As Experience With Electronic Medical Records.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Highly Collaborative Environment, With Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
