  1. Assist with patient care: The primary responsibility of the RN Student Summer Patient Care Associate is to provide hands-on assistance with patient care under the supervision of experienced nurses.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Enrollment In An Accredited Nursing Program: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Be Actively Enrolled In A Nursing Program, Preferably Pursuing A Degree In Registered Nursing. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Patient Care.

  • Prior Patient Care Experience: Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting Or Providing Direct Patient Care Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Could Include Experience As A Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Or Emt, Which Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Demanding Environment.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Patient Care Associate, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers. Therefore, Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must-Have For This Role.

  • Ability To Work 24-Hour Rotating Shifts: This Position Requires The Candidate To Work Flexible Hours, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Willing And Able To Work These 24-Hour Rotating Shifts As Needed.

  • Basic Life Support Certification: A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Typically Required For This Position. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Basic Life-Saving Care To Patients.
