  1. Provide direct patient care to oncology patients undergoing clinical trials.
  2. Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments according to established protocols.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' responses to treatments, and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families about treatments, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
  7. Participate in the planning and execution of clinical trials, including recruiting and screening patients, collecting data, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and developments in the field of oncology and infusion therapy.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials.
  10. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
  11. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  12. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development and improvement of clinical protocols and procedures.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold ethical standards of practice.
  15. Serve as a resource and mentor for other staff members, sharing knowledge and expertise in the field of oncology and infusion therapy.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Oncology Nursing (Ocn) Preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of New Hampshire.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Oncology Infusion And Clinical Trials.

  • Experience With Electronic Medical Records (Emr) And Proficiency In Data Management.
