  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to cancer patients and their families.
  2. Administer treatments and medications to patients under the direction of physicians.
  3. Utilize the latest treatments and technologies to deliver high-quality care.
  4. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their diagnosis, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  9. Comfort and support patients and families during difficult times.
  10. Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are addressed.
  11. Stay updated on current research and advancements in cancer treatment.
  12. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
  13. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
  14. Act as a resource and mentor for other staff members.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the quality of care provided.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Oncology Nursing, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Chemotherapy Administration And Management Of Cancer-Related Symptoms.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Ability To Document Accurately And Efficiently.
