Job Description

  1. Conducting research on topics related to healthcare for older adults, including implementation science and health services research.
  2. Collaborating with team members and external partners to design and implement research studies.
  3. Analyzing data and interpreting results to inform evidence-based practices and policies.
  4. Identifying and applying for grants and funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
  5. Staying up-to-date on current research and industry trends related to healthcare for older adults.
  6. Contributing to the development and publication of research findings in academic journals and other publications.
  7. Presenting research findings at conferences and other events.
  8. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members and students.
  9. Building relationships and partnerships with healthcare organizations, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.
  10. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall strategic planning and direction of research initiatives.
  11. Maintaining compliance with ethical and regulatory standards in research.
  12. Representing the organization and promoting its mission and values to external audiences.
  13. Continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation in the field of health services research for older adults.
  14. Managing and prioritizing multiple research projects and deadlines.
  15. Collaborating with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure coordination and alignment of research efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctoral Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Health Services Research, Implementation Science, Geriatrics, Or A Related Discipline.

  • Previous Experience Conducting Research In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In The Field Of Geriatrics.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Statistical Methods, With Experience Using Software Such As Spss Or Sas.

  • Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Oral, To Effectively Present Research Findings And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams.

  • Familiarity With Grant Writing And Securing Funding For Research Projects.
