  1. Assist patients with their rehabilitation needs under the direction of a licensed therapist.
  2. Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients during their recovery process.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the therapist.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following infection control and safety protocols.
  6. Assist with transporting patients to and from therapy sessions and other appointments.
  7. Set up and prepare equipment and materials for therapy sessions.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes through ongoing education and training.
  11. Contribute to a positive and professional work environment by demonstrating a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  12. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  14. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and educational sessions.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or therapist.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Rehabilitation Aide Position At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Understand And Follow Instructions.
