1. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the rehab department, including patient care, staff scheduling, and department operations.
2. Ensure that all patients receive high-quality, individualized care that meets their specific needs and helps them regain strength and mobility.
3. Lead and manage a team of rehab professionals, including therapists, assistants, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
4. Develop and maintain effective communication channels within the rehab department and with other departments within the hospital.
5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the rehab department and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
7. Manage and maintain the department budget, including ordering supplies and equipment.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in rehab therapy to ensure the department is providing the most effective and innovative treatments.
9. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
