We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Rehab Co-op/Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about rehabilitation and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Rehab Co-op/Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced therapists and assist in providing exceptional patient care.   1. Greet and welcome patients, families, and visitors to the rehabilitation department in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist the therapy team with patient evaluations and treatments, under the supervision of licensed therapists.
  3. Observe and learn from experienced therapists, participating in hands-on learning opportunities to develop practical skills.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a positive and collaborative rehabilitation experience.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  6. Help maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available for use.
  7. Attend department meetings and educational sessions to learn about new techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  8. Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
  9. Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the specific needs and goals of each patient.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn and grow in the field of rehabilitation.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols and infection control measures.
  12. Continuously strive to provide exceptional patient care and promote a positive and welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.
  13. Participate in other duties and tasks as assigned by the rehabilitation department or hospital management.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.

  • Completed At Least Two Years Of A Bachelor's Degree Program In A Related Field Such As Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Or Speech Therapy.

  • Strong Academic Record, With A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0 Or Higher.

  • Previous Clinical Or Volunteer Experience In A Rehabilitation Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Basic Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Understanding Of Patient Confidentiality And Hipaa Regulations.
