Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Rehab Co-op/Intern to join our dynamic team.   1. Assist in the planning and implementation of patient rehabilitation programs under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  2. Provide hands-on support and assistance to patients during therapy sessions.
  3. Monitor and record patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized therapy area to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to provide necessary information and support.
  7. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and treatment plans.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in rehabilitation to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  9. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality care to patients.
  11. Display a positive and professional attitude, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
  12. Maintain patient confidentiality and respect their rights and individual needs.
  13. Embrace opportunities for learning and growth within the rehabilitation field.

Job Qualifications
  • Currently Enrolled In An Accredited College Or University Program In A Related Field Such As Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Or Rehabilitation Counseling.

  • Strong Academic Record, With A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0.

  • Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Or Rehabilitation Setting, Either Through Internships, Volunteer Work, Or Part-Time Employment.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records And Other Computer Systems Commonly Used In Healthcare Settings.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Team And With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
