  1. Provide high-quality and individualized care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) following surgical procedures.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their physical and emotional well-being during the recovery process.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and management of potential complications.
  6. Ensure the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  7. Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
  8. Communicate effectively with physicians, colleagues, and other members of the healthcare team.
  9. Stay updated with current nursing practices, procedures, and standards of care.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism towards patients and their families.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall enhancement of patient care.
  13. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their recovery.
  14. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
  16. Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  17. Serve as a role model to other staff members and promote a positive work culture.
  18. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  19. Assist in the discharge planning process for patients.
  20. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the PACU.

Job Qualifications
  • Bls And Acls Certification.

  • Active Rn License In The State Of New Hampshire.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Pacu).

  • Knowledge Of Post-Operative Care And Pain Management Protocols.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills.
