We are currently seeking a skilled Radiology - MRI Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in accurately and safely performing MRI scans for our patients.   1. Perform MRI scans: Conduct accurate and safe MRI scans on patients using advanced imaging equipment and techniques.
  2. Ensure patient safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients during MRI procedures.
  3. Maintain equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain MRI equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Follow protocols and procedures: Follow established protocols and procedures for MRI scans to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
  5. Monitor patient comfort: Monitor patients throughout the MRI scan to ensure their comfort and well-being, and address any concerns or discomfort.
  6. Accurately document procedures: Record and maintain accurate and detailed records of MRI scans and procedures performed on patients.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and effective patient care.
  8. Educate patients: Explain the MRI procedure to patients and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  9. Adhere to regulatory standards: Comply with all state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures, related to MRI scans.
  10. Continuously improve skills: Stay updated on advances in MRI technology and techniques and continuously develop skills and knowledge through training and education opportunities.
  11. Maintain confidentiality: Handle sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations.
  12. Provide exceptional patient care: Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism while interacting with patients to ensure exceptional patient experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Certification And Licensure: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Hold A Valid Certification In Mri Technology From An Accredited Institution, As Well As A Valid State License To Practice.

  • Proficiency In Mri Technology: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Mri Technology, Including Equipment Operation, Safety Protocols, And Image Interpretation.

  • Prior Experience: Previous Work Experience In A Hospital Or Medical Setting Is Preferred, Particularly In A Radiology Department. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With Hospital Protocols And Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Crucial Aspect Of This Role Is The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Medical Professionals. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Team.

  • Flexibility And Availability: As A Per Diem Position, The Candidate Should Be Able To Work On An As-Needed Basis, Including Weekends And Holidays. Flexibility In Scheduling And Availability To Cover Shifts On Short Notice Is Essential For This Role.
