
Project Worker, Environmental Services

- Perform daily cleaning tasks in assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, public spaces, and offices.
- Ensure all cleaning procedures are carried out in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.
- Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff to address any concerns or requests.
- Continuously seek ways to improve cleaning processes and implement cost-effective measures.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong work ethic in all tasks performed.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to hospital dress code and grooming standards.
- Demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability and actively participate in hospital initiatives to reduce waste and promote recycling.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Public Health, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Environmental Services Setting.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
