  1. Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their visit to the Vascular Diagnostic Lab.
  2. Utilize skills and knowledge to perform a variety of procedures and tests, including but not limited to ultrasound imaging, Doppler studies, and ankle-brachial index measurements.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of all equipment and technology used in the lab, ensuring it is functioning properly and reporting any issues to appropriate personnel.
  4. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and accurate test results.
  5. Accurately record and maintain patient information, including medical history, test results, and any relevant observations.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  7. Take initiative in identifying and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during patient care.
  8. Act as a point of contact for patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and providing education on procedures and test results.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of vascular diagnostics.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  11. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, organizing patient files, and ordering supplies.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized working environment to promote efficiency and safety.
  13. Act as a positive representative of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, promoting the organization's mission, values, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Vascular Ultrasound: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Certification In Vascular Ultrasound From An Accredited Institution.

  • Experience In Vascular Diagnostic Procedures: A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Performing Various Vascular Diagnostic Procedures Such As Carotid, Venous, And Arterial Studies Is Required.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Emr Systems: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Proficient In Using Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems.

  • Attention To Detail: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail And Be Able To Accurately Document And Report Findings From Vascular Diagnostic Tests.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
