Practice Assistant II - Infusion - 20 hr weekend

- Administer infusion therapy treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Monitor patients' vital signs and reactions to treatments, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and supplies for infusion procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Educate patients and their families on infusion procedures, medication administration, and potential side effects
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and follow-up care
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for improving patient care and department processes
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably With Infusion Experience.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Related To Infusion Therapy.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Data Entry, With The Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information And Maintain Electronic Medical Records.
