  1. Provide excellent postpartum care to new mothers and their babies.
  2. Assist in coordinating and managing the daily operations of the CWN 9/10 unit.
  3. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
  5. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare team.
  6. Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  8. Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of job duties.
  9. Uphold the mission and values of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
  10. Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients, families, and staff.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Cna Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification, Which Demonstrates Their Knowledge And Skills In Basic Patient Care And Assistance.

  • Experience In Postpartum Care: Previous Experience In A Postpartum Unit Or A Related Field, Such As Labor And Delivery Or Neonatal Care, Is Preferred. This Experience Should Include Caring For Postpartum Patients, Assisting With Newborn Care, And Understanding The Special Needs Of Postpartum Mothers.

  • Team Leadership Skills: The Nursing Assistant Unit Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Nursing Assistants And Providing Direction And Support. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Communicate Effectively, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Utilizes Electronic Medical Records (Emr) For Patient Documentation. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience With Emr Systems And Be Comfortable Using Technology To Document Patient Care.

  • Bls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Required For All Nursing Staff At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained In Life-Saving Techniques, Such As Cpr, And Is Prepared To Respond In Emergency Situations.
