We have an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at the Cancer Center Hematologic Malignancies department at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).   1. Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with hematologic malignancies, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  2. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams, review of medical histories, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
  4. Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other cancer treatments, including managing potential side effects and complications.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care measures.
  6. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records.
  7. Stay current on new developments and advancements in the field of oncology, and apply this knowledge to patient care.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data collection to ensure the highest standard of care for patients.
  9. Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program

  • Current License To Practice As A Physician Assistant In The State Of New Hampshire

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Oncology Or Hematology, Preferably In A Cancer Center Setting

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Hematologic Malignancies, Including Diagnosis, Treatment, And Management

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Provide Patient Education And Support.
