  1. Provide comprehensive and individualized care to patients in the Inpatient Orthopedics department.
  2. Work closely with a team of orthopedic surgeons to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Assess and diagnose patients' orthopedic conditions and make appropriate recommendations for treatment.
  4. Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  5. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in the field of orthopedics.
  8. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for all patients.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  11. Conduct patient education and provide resources for managing and preventing orthopedic conditions.
  12. Attend departmental meetings and contribute to discussions and decision-making processes.
  13. Serve as a positive and professional representative of the hospital to patients, families, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification As A Physician Assistant By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Inpatient Orthopedics Setting.

  • Active License To Practice As A Physician Assistant In The State Of New Hampshire.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Orthopedic Conditions, Treatments, And Procedures, As Well As Experience In Managing Post-Operative Care For Orthopedic Patients.
