  1. Assist physical therapists with patient care by setting up equipment, preparing treatment areas, and helping patients with exercises and stretches.
  2. Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions, reporting any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stocked.
  4. Greet and communicate with patients in a friendly and professional manner, making them feel comfortable and at ease during their therapy sessions.
  5. Adhere to safety protocols and assist with transferring and positioning patients to ensure their safety and comfort.
  6. Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercises to continue their therapy at home.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  8. Attend training and educational sessions to continuously improve knowledge and skills in the field of physical therapy.
  9. Document patient information accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the clinic.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Physical Therapy Aide At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Must Possess A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Be Considered For The Position.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Hospital Or Other Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Physical Therapy Department.

  • Basic Understanding Of Anatomy And Physiology: As A Physical Therapy Aide, It Is Important To Have A Basic Understanding Of The Human Body And Its Systems In Order To Assist With Patient Care.
