  1. Coordinate and manage all shipping activities for the pharmacy department, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medications and supplies.
  2. Maintain and update shipping records, including tracking numbers and delivery dates, to ensure proper documentation and accountability.
  3. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as pharmacists and shipping carriers, to ensure smooth and efficient shipping processes.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and anticipate any potential shortages or delays in shipments, proactively finding solutions to minimize disruptions.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to shipping hazardous materials and controlled substances.
  6. Train and supervise shipping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to streamline shipping procedures.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory management, to ensure accurate and timely shipping of all necessary items.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, ensuring all supplies and equipment are readily available and in good working condition.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Shipping Coordinator At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Previous Experience In Pharmacy Or Shipping: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pharmacy Or Shipping Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmacy Regulations And Guidelines: Familiarity With State And Federal Regulations Related To Pharmacy Operations And Shipping Procedures Is Essential For This Role.
