  1. Provide exceptional care to pediatric surgical patients under the direction of the supervising physician.
  2. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
  3. Develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric surgical patients, in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising physician.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  6. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care and follow-up instructions.
  7. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  11. Stay current with advancements in pediatric surgical procedures and treatments.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
  13. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with the healthcare team.
  16. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
  17. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and excellence in patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Licensure: The Candidate Should Hold A Current And Unrestricted License As A Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant In The State Of New Hampshire.

  • Specialized Training: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed Specialized Training In Pediatric Surgery Or Have Previous Experience In This Field.

  • Strong Clinical Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Clinical Skills And Be Able To Perform A Thorough Assessment, Diagnosis, And Treatment For Pediatric Surgical Patients.

  • Flexibility And Availability: As A Per Diem Position, The Candidate Should Be Flexible And Available To Work Varied Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively With The Multidisciplinary Team, Including Surgeons, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals, To Provide High-Quality Care To Pediatric Surgical Patients.
