- Conduct thorough and accurate dental hygiene assessments on patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling, root planing, and polishing.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care.
- Identify and document any abnormalities or areas of concern in patients' oral health.
- Assist dentists in various procedures, such as fillings and extractions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and stocked.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay current with industry developments, technology, and best practices in dental hygiene.

Active Dental Hygiene License: The Applicant Must Hold A Valid And Active License As A Dental Hygienist In The State Of New Hampshire.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Dental Hygienist In A Clinical Setting.
Cpr Certification: A Current Cpr Certification Is Required For All Healthcare Professionals, Including Dental Hygienists, To Ensure The Safety Of Patients.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Per-Diem Dental Hygienist, The Applicant Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients And Work Well With The Rest Of The Dental Team.
Availability For Flexible Scheduling: Per-Diem Positions Often Have Varying Shifts And Schedules, So The Applicant Must Be Available To Work On An As-Needed Basis. This May Include Evenings And Weekends.
