We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of our young patients with heart conditions.   1. Perform cardiac ultrasounds on pediatric patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.
  2. Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to obtain accurate and detailed images of the heart and surrounding structures.
  3. Work closely with pediatric cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  4. Maintain a high level of technical proficiency in pediatric cardiac sonography and stay current with advancements in the field.
  5. Provide compassionate and age-appropriate care to pediatric patients and their families.
  6. Educate patients and their families on procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric cardiac patients.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and professional work environment.
  12. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards related to patient care and confidentiality.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service and promote a welcoming and caring environment for all patients and their families.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the pediatric cardiology department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Certification Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Cardiac Sonography

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology

  • Familiarity With Specialized Equipment And Techniques For Pediatric Cardiac Imaging, Including 3D And Doppler Ultrasound Technology.
