PCA/CNA 32 Hour Night Shift - Organ Transplant Unit

- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other patient data.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as delegated by the nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Attend required trainings and maintain all necessary certifications.
- Follow hospital policies and procedures at all times.
- Uphold the hospital's mission and values in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
Valid Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Pca Or Cna Certification From An Accredited Institution.
Experience With Transplant Patients: Previous Experience Working With Transplant Patients, Preferably In A Hospital Setting, Is Required For This Position.
Night Shift Availability: The Candidate Must Be Available To Work 32 Hours Per Week On The Night Shift, Which Typically Involves Working From 11 Pm To 7 Am.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires The Ability To Stand, Walk, And Lift Patients For Extended Periods Of Time, Therefore The Candidate Must Possess Physical Stamina And Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Team Player: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals. A Positive Attitude And The Ability To Adapt To A Fast-Paced Work Environment Are Also Essential Qualities For This Role.
