  1. Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression of the hospital.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience.
  3. Schedule appointments, procedures, and consultations for patients, working closely with healthcare providers and other staff members to coordinate care.
  4. Collect and verify patient information, including personal and insurance information, to ensure accurate and timely processing of appointments and billing.
  5. Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records with accurate and current information.
  6. Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or individual as needed.
  7. Process patient payments and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  8. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and efficient patient flow, assisting with rooming patients and preparing exam rooms as needed.
  9. Provide support to healthcare providers by assisting with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, filing, and organizing medical records.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and implementing suggestions for improvement.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including privacy and confidentiality guidelines, to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in patient service and healthcare technology.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Service Representative Or Customer Service Role.

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required, With Additional Education Or Training In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field Preferred.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.

  • Proficient In Electronic Medical Records And Scheduling Systems, With Strong Computer Skills And Ability To Learn New Software Quickly.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Processes, Including Prior Authorization And Verification, To Ensure Timely And Accurate Billing And Documentation.
