  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients in the RACU department at MGH campus.
  2. Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  3. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  4. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
  5. Assist with basic patient care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  6. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing support and education as needed.
  9. Respond to patients' needs promptly and with empathy, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  12. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare teams to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Care Associate Should Have A Basic Level Of Education To Understand Medical Terminology And Perform Basic Tasks.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Provide Direct Patient Care.

  • Cpr/Bls Certification: A Patient Care Associate Should Be Trained In Cpr And Basic Life Support (Bls) To Handle Emergency Situations And Provide Immediate Care To Patients In Distress.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility Can Give A Candidate An Understanding Of The Environment And The Ability To Handle Different Types Of Patients.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Patient Care Associate Should Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And The Healthcare Team. They Should Also Have The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Build Strong Relationships With Colleagues.
