  • Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced healthcare setting
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge and experience in orthopedics and urology
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients
  • Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional wellbeing, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers
  • Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing for patients who may have limited mobility
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients by maintaining cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and common areas
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, providing education and support as needed
  • Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Care Associate At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Be Considered For The Role.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: The Hospital Requires Candidates To Have A Current Cna Certification To Ensure They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Provide Direct Patient Care.

  • Previous Experience In Orthopedics Or Urology: Ideal Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience Working In An Orthopedic Or Urology Setting, Either In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Patient Care Associate, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working In A Hospital Setting Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities Efficiently While Maintaining A Calm And Professional Demeanor.
