  1. Provide exceptional healthcare to patients in the operating room setting.
  2. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during procedures.
  3. Utilize strong clinical skills to assess and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
  4. Administer medications and IV fluids as ordered by the physician.
  5. Monitor and maintain patient's vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgeon.
  6. Prepare operating room equipment and supplies, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support as needed.
  8. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room.
  9. Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  10. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed and their rights are respected.
  11. Assist with patient transfers and positioning for surgery.
  12. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and new techniques.
  13. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  15. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of New Hampshire

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Circulating Nurse In An Operating Room Setting

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating Room Equipment And Procedures

  • Ability To Work Evening Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays, In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
