1. Ensure smooth and efficient operation of operating rooms at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
2. Assist with preparing operating rooms for surgeries, including setting up equipment and supplies.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of operating rooms before, during, and after surgeries.
4. Anticipate and fulfill the needs of surgeons and other medical staff during surgeries.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
6. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
7. Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
8. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment.
9. Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste according to hospital guidelines.
10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
11. Keep accurate records and documentation of all procedures and tasks performed.
12. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on new procedures and protocols.
13. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times.
14. Assist with transporting patients to and from the operating room.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or medical staff.
