  1. Provide comprehensive and specialized care to patients in the Pathology department at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).
  2. Utilize expertise in pathology and nursing to deliver exceptional patient care.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  4. Monitor and assess patients' health status, document findings, and communicate with healthcare team as needed.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  8. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality and safe patient care.
  9. Stay current on advancements and changes in the field of pathology and nursing.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
  11. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for colleagues.
  12. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program.

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of New Hampshire.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In Pathology Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Common Diseases, Medical Terminology, And Laboratory Procedures.

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
