  1. Lead and manage the Emergency Department team to provide high-quality and compassionate patient care.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the delivery of emergency services and enhance patient outcomes.
  3. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards related to emergency care.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the hospital leadership team to drive organizational goals and initiatives.
  5. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain a strong and competent team.
  6. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff.
  7. Monitor and manage the department budget, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and other healthcare providers to enhance the coordination of care for patients.
  9. Ensure that the department maintains a safe and efficient working environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
  10. Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in emergency care to continuously improve services.
  11. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and promote a positive and collaborative work culture.
  12. Participate in hospital committees and meetings to represent the Emergency Department and provide valuable input.
  13. Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  14. Maintain accurate and complete records and reports related to the department's activities and performance.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and privacy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) And Current Licensure As A Registered Nurse (Rn) In The State Of New Hampshire.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Emergency Department Nursing, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Emergency Department Operations, Including Triage, Patient Flow, And Staffing.

  • Proven Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team, Develop And Implement Policies And Procedures, And Effectively Manage Budget And Resources.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Physicians, Staff, And Other Departments To Ensure High-Quality Patient Care.
