  1. Perform neurodiagnostic tests: The primary responsibility of the Neurodiagnostic TCD Tech Senior will be to conduct various neurodiagnostic tests, including Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.
  2. Operate and maintain equipment: The TCD Tech Senior will be responsible for operating and maintaining all equipment related to neurodiagnostic testing, ensuring that it is in proper working condition and providing accurate results.
  3. Analyze and interpret results: The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting test results, identifying any abnormalities or irregularities, and reporting them to the appropriate medical professionals.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team: The TCD Tech Senior will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assist in patient care, provide accurate test results, and contribute to treatment plans.
  5. Ensure patient comfort and safety: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety during all procedures, including explaining the test to patients, addressing any concerns, and monitoring vital signs.
  6. Maintain records and documentation: The Neurodiagnostic TCD Tech Senior will be responsible for accurately documenting all procedures, test results, and patient information in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements: The ideal candidate will stay informed about the latest advancements in neurodiagnostics, including new techniques, equipment, and procedures, and bring this knowledge to the team.
  8. Train and mentor junior staff: The TCD Tech Senior may be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate test results.
  9. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures: The candidate will be responsible for following all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  10. Maintain confidentiality: The TCD Tech Senior will be responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA regulations at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Neurodiagnostics, Neuroscience, Or Biological Sciences.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working As A Tcd Tech In A Hospital Setting.

  • Certification As A Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. Eeg T.) By Abret.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Neuroanatomy, Physiology, And Neurodiagnostic Testing Techniques.
