- Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients struggling with substance use disorders
- Perform medical assisting duties, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures
- Maintain organized and accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of substance use disorders and the unique needs of patients in this population
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
- Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes through ongoing education and training
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving clinic operations and patient care
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the hospital and clinic in a professional manner.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Medical Assistant In A Substance Use Clinic Or Similar Setting.
Certification As A Medical Assistant From An Accredited Program.
Knowledge Of Substance Use Disorders, Treatment Methods, And Medications Commonly Used In A Clinical Setting.
Familiarity With Electronic Health Record Systems And Proficiency In Documentation And Charting.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Providers, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Compassionate And Professional Manner.
