  • Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients struggling with substance use disorders
  • Perform medical assisting duties, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures
  • Maintain organized and accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of substance use disorders and the unique needs of patients in this population
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes through ongoing education and training
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving clinic operations and patient care
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the hospital and clinic in a professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Medical Assistant In A Substance Use Clinic Or Similar Setting.

  • Certification As A Medical Assistant From An Accredited Program.

  • Knowledge Of Substance Use Disorders, Treatment Methods, And Medications Commonly Used In A Clinical Setting.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Record Systems And Proficiency In Documentation And Charting.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Providers, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Compassionate And Professional Manner.
