- Provide exceptional patient care and support to plastic surgeons in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Assist plastic surgeons during examinations, procedures, and surgeries by preparing equipment and supplies, and providing necessary support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, vital signs, and test results.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-ups for patients, and maintain the physician's schedule.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and processing paperwork.
- Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and advancements in plastic surgery to provide the highest level of care to patients.
- Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and compassion towards patients and their families at all times.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with the plastic surgery team to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work culture by fostering teamwork and open communication.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Certification.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Medical Assistant In A Plastic Surgery Setting.
Knowledge Of Plastic Surgery Procedures, Terminology, And Documentation.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Ability To Accurately Enter And Retrieve Patient Information.
