  1. Greet and welcome patients to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  2. Assist in the delivery of high-quality healthcare to the Seacoast community by working as a Medical Assistant in various departments.
  3. Provide compassionate care to patients by assisting with tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for procedures.
  4. Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department and provide coverage for various shifts.
  5. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  6. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  7. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to patients, families, and colleagues.
  8. Utilize electronic medical records and other technology to accurately document patient information and maintain patient confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating A Strong Foundation In Medical Terminology, Clinical Procedures, And Patient Care.

  • Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Assistant In A Clinical Setting Is Required. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Comfortable With The Daily Tasks And Responsibilities Of The Job.

  • Flexibility: As A Per Diem Float Pool Position, The Candidate Must Be Willing To Work At Various Locations Within The Hospital, As Needed. This Requires A High Level Of Flexibility And Adaptability To Different Work Environments And Teams.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal. This Is Essential For Effectively Communicating With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Multitasking And Organizational Skills: A Medical Assistant In A Float Pool Position Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Patients Simultaneously. Strong Organizational Skills Are Crucial For Managing A Busy Schedule And Ensuring Timely And Accurate Completion Of Tasks.
