Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant I/MRI Tech Aide. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist in both clinical and technical aspects of MRI imaging, while also providing support to our medical staff.   1. Assist with clinical and technical tasks related to MRI imaging, such as preparing patients for procedures and operating MRI equipment.
  2. Provide support to medical staff during MRI procedures, including monitoring patient vital signs and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  3. Maintain and organize MRI equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
  4. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  6. Keep accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, procedures, and results.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including exam rooms and equipment.
  9. Attend training and continuing education programs to stay updated on the latest MRI technology and techniques.
  10. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all individuals.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  12. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or medical staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential

  • Completion Of An Accredited Mri Technology Program

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Medical Office

  • Knowledge Of Mri Equipment And Techniques, Including Patient Positioning And Image Acquisition
