Lifeguard -The Works Fitness Center

Welcome to The Works Fitness Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a Lifeguard. As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our members and guests while they enjoy our pool facilities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others, has strong communication skills, and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. 1. Monitor pool area and ensure the safety of all swimmers at all times.
2. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
3. Conduct regular checks of pool equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
4. Respond quickly and effectively to any emergency situations, following proper emergency procedures.
5. Communicate effectively with members and guests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
6. Maintain a clean and organized pool area, including regular cleaning and disinfecting of pool decks and equipment.
7. Keep accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance logs.
8. Attend and participate in all required trainings and meetings.
9. Assist with the planning and implementation of pool events and activities.
10. Continuously educate yourself on current lifeguarding techniques and protocols to ensure the highest level of safety for all pool users.
11. Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
12. Adhere to all policies and procedures of The Works Fitness Center and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
13. Maintain current certifications in CPR and First Aid and stay up-to-date with any necessary re-certifications.
14. Act as a role model for professionalism and safety at all times.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
