  1. Monitor and respond to security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  3. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
  4. Act as the primary point of contact for all security incidents, communicating with stakeholders and providing status updates.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of security incidents.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  7. Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  8. Develop and maintain a comprehensive incident response playbook.
  9. Participate in tabletop exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of incident response plans.
  10. Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on information security best practices.
  11. Create and maintain documentation of incident response activities for compliance purposes.
  12. Work closely with the IT team to implement security controls and measures to prevent future security incidents.
  13. Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend improvements to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information at all times.
  15. Uphold the hospital's policies and procedures related to information security.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Incident Response And/Or Information Security.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Related To Incident Response, Such As Nist, Iso, And Hipaa.

  • Experience With Incident Response Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, And Vulnerability Assessment Tools.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Investigate And Mitigate Security Incidents.
