- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, and offices according to established standards and procedures.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools are properly maintained and stored.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
- Stock and replenish supplies as needed to ensure that all areas are well-stocked and organized.
- Respond promptly to any spills, accidents, or other cleaning emergencies.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures to maintain confidentiality and protect patient privacy.
- Collaborate with other departments and staff members to ensure that all areas are adequately cleaned and maintained.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on safety, cleaning, and infection control protocols.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks on a rotating schedule to maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas.
- Assist with laundry and linen services as needed.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning tasks completed and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline cleaning processes.
- Uphold the hospital's mission and values by providing exceptional service to patients, families, and colleagues.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Previous Experience In Housekeeping Or Related Field
Knowledge Of Proper Cleaning Techniques And Use Of Cleaning Equipment
Ability To Follow Safety Protocols And Work In A Healthcare Environment
