- Monitor and track patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their exercise programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide education and guidance to patients on exercise techniques, proper form, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Conduct initial assessments and create individualized treatment plans for each patient.

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and follow infection control protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and improve exercise programs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

- Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Physiology Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Exercise Science And Physiology Is Essential For An Exercise Physiologist In A Cardiac Rehab Setting.
Certification From A Recognized Organization: Candidates Should Hold A Certification From A Reputable Organization, Such As The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm) Or The National Strength And Conditioning Association (Nsca).
Experience In Cardiac Rehabilitation: Previous Experience Working With Patients In A Cardiac Rehab Setting Is Highly Preferred, As It Demonstrates The Ability To Work With Individuals Who Have Suffered From Heart-Related Issues.
Knowledge Of Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing: A Thorough Understanding Of Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing And Its Interpretation Is Crucial For An Exercise Physiologist In A Cardiac Rehab Role.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Vital In This Role. Exercise Physiologists Must Also Possess Excellent Interpersonal Skills To Build Rapport And Motivate Patients In Their Recovery Journey.
