1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, public areas, and administrative offices.
2. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure thorough and efficient cleaning.
3. Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to effectively sanitize and disinfect all surfaces.
4. Monitor and restock supplies in designated areas, such as patient rooms and restrooms.
5. Empty and dispose of trash and medical waste in a safe and proper manner.
6. Perform daily tasks, such as mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
7. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
8. Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services from patients, staff, and visitors.
9. Adhere to infection control guidelines and protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the hospital.
10. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on new cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures.
11. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families at all times.
12. Work collaboratively with other members of the environmental services team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of all areas.
13. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to safety and infection control.
14. Keep track of and report any inventory needs, such as cleaning supplies and equipment, to the appropriate supervisor.
