Welcome to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital! We are currently seeking a dedicated Environmental Service Aide II to join our team for evening shifts. As an Environmental Service Aide II, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our hospital, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about creating a comfortable and sanitary environment for our patients and staff.   1. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas within the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
  2. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  3. Utilize appropriate cleaning equipment and products to effectively remove dirt, debris, and contaminants from surfaces.
  4. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
  5. Assist with the setup and breakdown of patient rooms and other hospital areas as necessary.
  6. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
  8. Work collaboratively with other members of the environmental services team to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning process.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, responding to any requests or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Attend all required training and development programs to maintain and improve job knowledge and skills.
  11. Keep accurate records of daily tasks and complete any necessary documentation.
  12. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and patient privacy.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Supervisor or hospital leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Hospital Or Healthcare Facility Cleaning And Sanitation.

  • Knowledge Of Cleaning Methods And Techniques For Various Surfaces And Equipment.

  • Familiarity With Infection Control Protocols And Hazardous Waste Disposal Procedures.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Strong Attention To Detail And Time Management Skills.
