In this role, you will provide expert care and support to patients in our fast-paced and dynamic emergency department.   1. Provide expert care and support to patients in the fast-paced and dynamic emergency department.
  2. Demonstrate a high level of compassion and empathy towards patients in their most critical moments.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement patient care interventions.
  4. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  8. Remain current on emergency nursing best practices and procedures.
  9. Educate patients and their families on disease management and prevention.
  10. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  11. Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  14. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  15. Serve as a mentor and resource for new nursing graduates.
  16. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture.
  17. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution: This Qualification Shows That The Candidate Has Completed A Rigorous Nursing Program And Has A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice.

  • Current State Nursing License: A Valid Nursing License Is Required To Practice As A Nurse In The State Of New Hampshire. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Qualified To Provide Safe And Competent Care To Patients.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Essential For An Emergency Department Nurse. These Certifications Demonstrate That The Candidate Is Trained In Life-Saving Techniques And Can Respond To Emergency Situations.

  • Prior Clinical Experience In An Emergency Setting: While This Job Is Open To New Graduates, Having Some Prior Experience In An Emergency Department Can Be An Advantage. It Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment Of The Ed.

  • Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Working In The Emergency Department Requires Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
