  1. Perform EEG procedures: The EEG Technologist will be responsible for conducting EEG procedures on patients, including attaching electrodes, monitoring signals, and documenting results.
  2. Interpret results: The EEG Technologist will be responsible for accurately and timely interpreting EEG results and communicating them to the patient's medical team.
  3. Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of the EEG Technologist is to provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during the EEG procedure.
  4. Maintain equipment and supplies: The EEG Technologist will be responsible for ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and in working order for each procedure.
  5. Collaborate with medical team: The EEG Technologist will work closely with other members of the medical team to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  6. Document procedures: The EEG Technologist will be responsible for accurately documenting all procedures and results in the patient's medical record.
  7. Stay updated on industry advancements: The EEG Technologist will be responsible for staying current on industry advancements and implementing new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality: As a healthcare professional, it is the responsibility of the EEG Technologist to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  9. Provide education to patients and families: The EEG Technologist may be responsible for educating patients and their families on the EEG procedure and results.
  10. Flexibility and availability: The EEG Technologist will need to be available for per diem shifts and have a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the hospital and its patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Eeg Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Certified In Eeg Technology By The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Eegs In A Hospital Setting.

  • Ability To Work On A Per Diem Basis, Including Weekends And Holidays.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals.
