- Provide high-quality care and support to patients with renal disease undergoing dialysis treatment.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition and respond to any changes or concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document vital signs, lab results, and other pertinent information.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis treatment, disease management, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure proper functioning of dialysis equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Maintain professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in dialysis treatment.
- Attend trainings and conferences to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals.
- Uphold the hospital's mission and values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
Bls And Acls Certification.
Current And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of New Hampshire.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Associate's Degree In Nursing (Adn) From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Dialysis Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Dialysis Procedures, Equipment, And Medications, As Well As The Ability To Assess And Manage Potential Complications.
