- Provide comprehensive and compassionate primary care services to underserved communities.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement community-focused healthcare initiatives.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with community organizations and leaders to better understand and address the healthcare needs of the community.
- Conduct thorough and accurate medical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, and promote preventive care to improve overall health and well-being.
- Advocate for the needs of underserved populations and work towards reducing healthcare disparities.
- Demonstrate a high level of cultural competency and sensitivity in providing care to diverse populations.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of healthcare services to the community.
- Continuously stay informed about current medical practices and advancements in order to provide the best care possible.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for other healthcare professionals, including medical students and residents.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and legal requirements.

Medical Degree: A Community-Based Primary Care Physician At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From A Reputable Medical School.
Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Be Board Certified In Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Or Pediatrics, Demonstrating A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In Their Chosen Specialty.
State Medical License: A Valid And Unrestricted License To Practice Medicine In The State Of Massachusetts Is A Must-Have Requirement For This Position.
Experience In Community-Based Care: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Providing Primary Care In A Community-Based Setting, Preferably In The Pioneer Valley Region.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills: As A Community-Based Primary Care Physician, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Build And Maintain Relationships With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. The Candidate Should Also Demonstrate A Commitment To Patient-Centered Care And Cultural Competency.
