  1. Provide comprehensive mental health services to patients in the inpatient psychiatry unit.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  4. Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
  5. Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to promote positive patient outcomes.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of the social work profession.
  8. Advocate for patients' rights and assist with discharge planning.
  9. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and coordinate care.
  10. Stay current with the latest developments and advancements in the field of social work and mental health.
  11. Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  12. Collaborate with community resources and make appropriate referrals for patients.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
  14. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for colleagues and patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current License To Practice As A Clinical Social Worker In The State Of New Hampshire.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Psychiatric Or Mental Health Setting, Preferably In An Inpatient Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Therapies And Interventions For Various Mental Health Disorders.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of An Interdisciplinary Team.
