- Oversee the daily operations of the Neurology department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Lead and manage the clinical practice of the department, including coordinating patient care, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality and evidence-based care for patients.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the department staff, including physicians, nurses, and support staff.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and Joint Commission.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as referring physicians and community organizations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Analyze department data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
- Stay updated on advancements and developments in the field of Neurology and ensure that the department is implementing best practices.
- Serve as a resource for staff members in regards to clinical and administrative issues.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the department.
- Represent the department and the hospital in a professional and positive manner to patients, families, and the community.
Current Rn License In The State Of New Hampshire.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In The Field Of Neurology.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Healthcare Field. Master's Degree Preferred.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Current Practices And Advancements In Neurology, Including Experience With Neurological Procedures And Treatments.
