- Oversee the daily operations of the Prompt Care department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitor and supervise the nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Develop and implement care plans for patients, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Train and educate new nursing staff members on department protocols and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Clinical Lead Nurse At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Must Hold A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Provides The Necessary Theoretical Foundation For Effective Leadership In A Clinical Setting.
Current Rn License: In Addition To A Bachelor's Degree, The Clinical Lead Nurse Must Hold A Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of New Hampshire. This License Ensures That The Individual Has Met The Minimum Requirements For Safe And Competent Nursing Practice.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Urgent Care Or Emergency Room Setting: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Is Looking For A Candidate With A Strong Background In Urgent Care Or Emergency Room Settings. This Experience Provides The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Effectively Lead A Team In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
Leadership And Management Experience: The Clinical Lead Nurse Must Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Demonstrates The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team, Make Strategic Decisions, And Handle Challenging Situations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Clinical Lead Nurse, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Leading A Team And Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals.
