Job Description

Are you ready to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced healthcare environment? Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a Clinic/Practice Assistant for our Urology department in Danvers. As a Clinic/Practice Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for healthcare and a drive to make a difference in the lives of others.   1. Assist in providing exceptional patient care by maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.
  2. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and updating patient records.
  3. Greet and check-in patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
  4. Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for patients.
  6. Assist physicians with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and stocking supplies.
  7. Follow all HIPAA and privacy regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations.
  9. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  10. Continuously strive to improve the patient experience by seeking feedback and implementing suggestions.
  11. Display a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in order to provide the highest quality of care.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the clinic manager or physician.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Experience With Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems.

  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Or Medical Office Setting, Preferably In Urology.

  • Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced And Busy Environment While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
